Weight Check...

We are on our own vaccine schedule, one that I decided and therefore we had an appointment today to get the last in their series.  Plus since they hadn't been in since Dec (their 15 month appt) they wanted to do a weight check.  Believe me I was thrilled...not.  I always brace myself and plan ahead for these appts as I prepare for a battle...I have small kids, period.  I am small, hubby is small...that's the way God made us and that is how He made our kiddos...anyway, I comply through gritted teeth and pray hard for no battles.  I was thrilled with how today went.  Besides the screaming from the girls before they got weighed, it went well. 

Ari:
18lbs 8oz
30.75 inches long
That's a gain of 1lb 3oz and 3/4 of an inch since December.  I was pretty stoked.

Cordi:
19lbs 6oz
30 inches long
That's a gain of a 1lb and 1/2 and inch since December.  I was half expecting her to be over the 20lb marker but, I am still thrilled.

They aren't pushing any further testing at this point, but will weight check at 18 months and will push for an extra weight check at 21 months.  I haven't decided if I am staying with this dr or if I want to pursue another option.  They are a great office, they just stress me out and make us jump through a bumch of hoops I am not sure are necessary.  I love my girls and want what's best for them...I really don't want to live a big chunk of their lives worried if they are eating enough and gaining enough weight.  They are healthy happy babies and that is all I want...I am thinking I need to find a dr that supports that and isn't stressing us with extra appointments.
