Right at about 20 months Ari learned to jump. It's seriously the cutest thing ever. The effort it takes for her to get her little body up in the air like an inch is hilarious. I was shocked she could do it...as I know that's a skill that most kids learn at about 2. Cordi is close behind and can jump while holding onto things. They both love to run...I about burst out laughing to watch Cordi run, the way she holds her arms and watching her little legs go...it's the funniest thing. They both are talking talking talking...It's rare to hear single words come out of them anymore...it's "read book please" or "outside ride bike" or "oh no fall down!" So amazing to watch. Both are still working on popping through their cuspids...all 4...all at once. They have been doing great with it and not fussy really. We still have to go to grandma's atleast once a week to keep attitudes in line...meaning they HATE being cooped up in the house all week long...they need to run and ride and play in a different environment and grandma's is close and has bikes.
They still both eat great...Ari does NOT like oranges...not sure why...they both love most other fruits and veggies. They both LOVE LOVE LOVE broccoli...not frozen, it has to be fresh steamed...but when it's on their plate, all else ignored...never in my life would I have thought I would hear, "more broccoli please!" coming out of their mouths...crazy. Protein is an issue...I have found grilled hotdogs are a favorite, and most of the time nuggets...tuna sometimes...beef has to be just so...but they do love fish...another thing I didn't think they would like. They also adore popsicles and icecream...imagine that. And yes, we strip down to enjoy popsicles cause momma don't wanna clean those stains.

Cordi already has super-model hair. It's awesome !!!
ReplyDeleteAdorable girls... Love each milestone as they come!! ;) I will email u soon...
ReplyDeleteNoelle-I know, right? Still can't work up the heart to trim it...a little afraid it will never be the same. :)
ReplyDeleteCan't blame you, really. After we cut Autumn's hair it never was the same - even though it kept most of the curl. Might as well let her rock it as long as she can. :)
