weight check...

So despite my original intentions of ignoring the dr and skipping their request for a 21 month weight check...I gave in.  Somewhere deep down I think I want to jump through their hoops just to be "safe" or something.  Anyway, I should have just skipped it...it was destined for disaster...first...my PA we see was out of town for 2 weeks, so that meant I would be seeing our pedi...whom I don't like much....second...I asked my mom to go along...that was short sighted but thought it would be alright for one time.  It wasn't pleasant...though the girls did well, it was one of the first times they didn't just start bawling when the nurse came out to get them.

Ari:
weighed in at: 20lbs 6oz

height: 32.75 inches

Cordi:

weighed in at: 21lbs

height: 32 inches

I was happy with the weights.  Ari gained almost 2lbs in 3 months and grew and inch.  Cordi gained almost a pound in 3 months but too grew an inch.

I will save the drama and not go into the craziness that was the appointment, but sum it up to say, she was not thrilled with the weights, made it sound like our whole goal is to get them back on the charts for their weights, and then to top it off asked me why I was delaying the MMR...needless to say, I probably will be looking for a new pediatrician...as much as I love my PA that we see, I can't deal with the pedi...and if I can't stomach seeing the pedi in a pinch...I need to be elsewhere.

In other news...the girls got new hats...yeah kinda silly, but they LOVE hats...Ari usually asks to wear a hat whenever we leave the house...so we bought some cute new ones...
