Wow...time flies. My girls hit 22 months today...I cannot believe in 2 short months they will be 2. My mommy heart breaks a little as they are less and less my little babies and more my little girls. Life is crazy, tiring, but so much fun with these two around. They adore being outside and BEG to go out as often as possible, they also HATE coming back inside. The second daddy comes home from work they both start begging to go for the mail...it's a routine thing...since they were a couple months old daddy would take one or both with him to walk to the mail box and get the mail. Today was a great example of that, daddy walked in and not even 2 minutes later Ari was asking to go get the mail. Too cute.
Ari:
-man alive is this girl talking...the things she says...I would say 90% of what she says is intelligible and 10% still gobblty-gook.
-she still adores books and begs to read book after book after book
-she very clearly stated to us, she does not like apple pie...not sure if that's true, but it was rather hilarious
-the dental assistant in mommy is freaking out as she likes to grind her teeth...bad.
-she adores jumping and is quite proficient at it both in their bounce house and on solid floors
-she loves singing songs her favorites are itsy bitsy spider and B-I-B-L-E cause she gets to yell Bible at the end.
-they both love nursery rhymes and Ari knows most of ba-ba-black sheep by memory.
-she also adores the monkeys jumping on the bed song and knows/repeats most of it...I still love hearing, "no monkeys jump on the bed!"
-we adore being naked and will strip off all our clothes without notice...much to mommy chagrin.
-she is stubbornly independent except when it comes to her sister...cordi leaves the room and ari worries...talks about her, cries for her...adorable but challenging sometimes.
-she LOVES to kiss boo-boos. you have an injury she'll kiss it for you
-she loves to hug and kiss her sister, probably more than anyone else.
-loves corn on the cob.
Cordi-
-we believe she is working on her 2nd molars as she has been quite the fun child to deal with.
-we learned she knows how tylenol is spelled as we don't say medicine cause she gets too excited...so I spelled it out t-y-l-e-n-o-l and she flat out said, tylenol.
-she too loves nursery rhymes and brings the book to us often asking for hickory dock.
-she talks a lot too, I would say she's up to 80-85% understandable and 15-20% gobblety-gook
-she loves to jump too, but is not quite as proficient yet.
-loves being naked and too will strip off all clothes.
-her favorite song too is probably itsy bitsy spider second favorite e-i-e-i-o more commonly known to others as Old McDonald.
-Cordi is still my lovey baby...I can get hugs and kisses all the time...I adore it.
-She too adores and requests fishy kisses a lot. which is pretty cute.
-her favorite food group is fruit. other things like meats are a challenge, unless it has dip (ie ketchup)
-the LOVE corn on the cob.
-she too loves the monkeys jumping on the bed song but her favorite part to repeat is "momma call the doctor and the doctor said"
I didn't get to take any pics today, so those are yet to come...
They just keep growing and changing. I love every minute but do miss my little babies. Guess it's time to start thinking about a second birthday party...
