Or I supposed I should say reminded...that I haven't blogged since I believe Dec 10. There are many reasons for that...one being I haven't really taken any pics since it's winter and I am stuck inside with little to no light (or space) to get good lighting in my shots. Second I have don't understand lighting enough (with my puny external flash) to work with the lighting I have.
Other things, I have been working on a HUGE order in my shop...a momma ordered 24 onesies for her twins (due in May)...that has kept me SERIOUSLY busy...I JUST finished sewing on it last night and it's going out today! YAY!! I have to say I LOVED the challenge...that is by far the biggest order I have had and it was a challenge to design and sew that many in a short time. Total turn around was about a month...which I think is pretty good for that many shirts.
The girls hit 28 months on the 8th..they continue to grow and amaze me...Cordi counts to 10, both love pretending and CONSTANTLY are acting out scenes from movies they've watched (mainly My Little Ponies)...they amaze us with how smart they are I swear they think they are atleast 6...
Potty training...is pretty much done....we haven't had accidents in weeks, they both do #1 and #2 in the potty...we are still doing diapers over nap and at night but Cordi has been dry both over naps and night for probably a month now...Ari is going to be the challenge on that one.
In other news we hired the first floor mudding and taping...they are starting today! This is HUGE...and will feel like mammoth progress I am sure. After that we have painting, tearing up the rest of the wood floors, leveling the floors a bit, laying new flooring (carpet and wood), trim, drop ceiling in one room and put the fixtures up. Goal is to be done by spring since our permit runs out.
So yeah, that combined with the flu on Christmas and a cold about 4 days after that, the 2 weeks surrounding Christmas were full of sick-os and being busy busy. I am JUST starting to get over the cold...I so dislike winter for all the sickie stuff that goes around...bleh.

Tracy I love the picture of you on the top of your blog...that is too beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI am glad for the update as well and wish I could turn back time and that we could have spent more time together when I went to LCS. God has blessed you with such neat gifts and if we lived closer I would so beg you to take some pictures of Ms. Clara Grace! :)
