I never thought in my life I would be so proud of something so silly and kinda gross. The girls are getting better and better at the potty thing. Today Ari told me she pooped in the potty (she has been saying this every time she pees too) so I said, ok, you peed great. She looked at me and said, no, I pooped in the potty see! I looked and sure enough she took herself and pooped in the potty! I was SO proud, I mean she's been doing great with the peeing but I figured poo would take us awhile.
Cordi like previously stated is a bit of a challenge. She is GREAT at knowing she has to go, but when she's got to go, she needs to be on the potty in 2 seconds or a mess ensues. So we've been working on that...I went upstairs for a moment to use the potty myself and I came back to Cordi proudly announcing she peed in the potty (I was again skeptical). I walked over and sure enough, she managed to know she had to go, get to the potty and go! I was floored!
So yeah...I NEVER in my wildest wildest dreams would have thought I would be so happy and proud about potty let alone the success of a poo in the potty. But I tell ya, there are moments...and I think God gives me those moments to make up for the repeat laundry I have to do due to accidents (not that we have had many probably 5-6 total between the 2 this whole week) but it is tiring especially doing 2 at once...continuing to pray the process goes smoothly!

Ah yes, isn't it funny how we moms get so excited about a little pee and poo? LOL! Everytime I ask Livia if she wants to sit on the potty she yells "nooooooo!!" which is weird because I've never even TRIED to sit her on the potty, and don't even think she knows what I mean!! LOL! Oh, it's going to be so fun. Not.
ReplyDeleteHey, I really appreciate you writing me back about the rough draft post - ugh!! I was so upset that happened. Another gal wrote me and said she could see the whole thing on her "Google reader." I don't even know what a Google reader is...but ugh...I didn't want to post it until Tuesday, and it wasn't even done. A couple pictures weren't even edited like I wanted them to be. Thank you so much for letting me know how it looked on your end. Hopefully most people will see what you saw. OK, feeling a BIT better about it now! Thanks so much! (Might be emailing you in a couple months for potty training tricks - LOL! It's been awhile for me). ;-)
