What the girls are learning these days...Ari loves to share her cheerios with you...but share I mean walk over and feed them to you. It is quite adorable, except for the fact that 90% of the time she picks one up, puts it half in her mouth and then tries to but it in your mouth. She has also rediscovered her tongue...this comes in stages, she off and on decides to get back to the sticking it out stage. Cordi has learned what sound an elephant makes...not sure how we learned that...but we learned it. She also has discovered that mommy has a belly button and anytime I am laying on the floor playing with them I am promptly greeted with a baby on my belly lifting my shirt to poke at my belly button...again, not really sure where that came from, but it's there. Ari is a walking machine...we hardly crawl anymore and she either has be carrying something or talking. She is talking up a storm as well...not talking talking, but she for sure think she is saying things...it's more than just baby babble, it very deliberate and determined. They both are more and more into reading books, you often times see Cordi sitting quietly talking softly turning pages...so cute.
Ari is still having night issues. Off and on...everyone has their 2 cents as to what is causing it...but thus far nothing has stopped them. It's tiring for everyone involved. Thankfully when it happens on the weekends A is around to help out and do some of the cuddling...not that I mind cuddling, but it's nice to have another set of arms to carry the load.
The goal for this week...
- get another friend to look at our roof and help us think through the best way to go forward.
- finishing moving furniture and clean the upstairs
- possibly buy and install windows
- lay rubber roofing
