What a week...

Tuesday I swore I was going to get out of the house...needed to get out of the house...didn't get out of the house.  I packed up the girls, wrote out my list, and headed to the car for a nice trip to wally world (walmart).  Put the girls in the car, tried to start the car....nothing.  It turned over, just wouldn't fire.  *sigh*  I texted Armen and rather dejectedly resigned myself to a day stuck in the house.  Later that night A fixed the car...turns out it was burning oil pretty quickly and I hadn't kept a close enough eye on it and it was too low...not good.  After a nice oil change and some serious prayer...the car runs smoothly once again!  Yay for that one....a new car didn't really seem to be in the mix financially at the moment...so that was a huge answer to prayer.

Tuesday night Ari had yet another night terror.  Had a challenging time getting her back down to sleep but she did finally go.  Still really wishing there was something I could do to prevent/help these from stopping.  Hoping she grows out of them quickly.

Yesterday was quite busy, productive, but busy.  Armen took the day off to work on the house so I rounded up childcare and spend most of the day plugging away at the house with him.  The day was spent hanging sheeting.  Basically sticking 8 foot sheets of OSB up on the outside of the walls with screws.  You drive screws about every 6-8inches into the studs...this took a LOT of time...and a lot of muscles I haven't used in awhile...BUT probably over 95% of the walls had all of the necessary screws in them before I left at 9:30.  I am learning that I am probably a lot more handy with tools than I ever thought possible.  Though the construction has not yet been inspected, so I may recant that statement at a later date. :)  Pictures to come soon...no worries there.

I then headed to walmart, as I had I attempted to do on Tuesday and was thwarted.  We were in dire need of necessities...you know things like diapers...things I waited forever to get and if I didn't, well...we might have naked babies running around...though I am sure they wouldn't mind that.  It was close to 10pm and I was rather tired and did my usual grab my wallet and just run in...I did all my shopping, loaded everything onto the nice little checkout conveyor belt and THEN noticed...I no longer had my wallet.  The thoughts that ran through my mind were not good...needless to say I unloaded the conveyor belt and retraced every step through the store I had taken to no avail.  Here the thoughts of having to call Armen to rescue me for the second time this week came into my head...I was not liking how that conversation would go.  In a last ditch effort I went to customer service, praying hard.  Low and behold, THEY HAD MY WALLET!!  I was so relieved...I think shopping at 10pm came in handy...not too many people in the store, so no one walked off with it...I think one of the employees picked it up.  This furthers my belief as well it's a good thing I don't carry cash...the wallet really isn't that enticing.  Anyway, HUGE answer to prayer there AND now my babies have diapers to cover their cute behinds.

That is the week thus far...I am tired and it's not friday yet!
