SO I have been rather busy...as if raising twins is not enough I have been working 2 days a week at my old office...I have ADORED it...it is SO nice to get out and do something "adult" and being good at something aside from changing diapers! Sadly, that blessing ends this week. While I will be happy to have ALL of my week back, I will miss my new and old friends at work and I KNOW my girls are going to miss spending days at both Grandmas' houses. I am betting I am going to be making trips back and forth to quench their need for grandma and auntie love.
Other things...well the girls turned 2 which I blogged about...and haven't blogged much of what they are learning or doing these days.
They:
-LOVE jumping...Ari especiallty, not a big surprise since she has been doing that since 6 or 7 months (in the jumperoo)
-the child does not stop talking...4-5 word sentences are the norm...she narrates EVERYTHING all day long...
-I think Ari is going to be a lefty...she adores coloring and ALWAYS uses her left hand
-she is also obsessed with writing her name...she can't yet, but seeing her drive I don't figure it's far off
-both likes to sing...songs include old macdonald, baa baa black sheep and the alphabet, hickory dickory dock, twinkle twinke little star, 3 blind mice, ring around the rosie...the list goes on.
-books, oh they love books...they both would read all day long if you let them
-blocks building and building and building...and OH the imaginations...we build planes and computers and chairs and tables and bounce houses.
-pretending we are getting VERY good at pretending...whether it's feeding foods to you, or water grandma's plants without water...the imaginations are growing.
-Cordi has counted to 10 on her own...this fact astonishes me...
-Cordi is OBSESSED with shoes...mommy's heels especially...she is such a girly girl it's not even funny.
-we are starting to love princesses...and our favorite at the moment is Cinderella...of course that COULD be because that is the only one mommy has on DVD...could be...
-We love daddy...(and mommy obviously) but there are more meltdowns when daddy leaves after lunch than I could have expected...so sad and so sweet.
-we LOVE playing outside and our new favorite activity is scooping dirt. (we don't have grass folks)
I am amazed at the things they learn, I can understand 95% of what they say and I would say most people can understand 90% of what they say. They speak SOOO clearly...and enunciate so well. I LOVE watching them grow and change...such a blessing!
I can't get pics to upload...so I will work on that another time!
