To help my memory...

Alright so I have a few updates...1-Ari and night terrors...still happening and I admit I am not documenting like I should...last week was a good week and we only had I believe one issue...which was easily resolved with a little rocking and back into bed.  We had an incident last night as well, slightly more severe in that she needed to come to bed with us for 20 minutes or so before going back to bed.  I know it's more severe as she lays completely still on whomever is holding her, and her eyes are as wide as silver dollars as though she is afraid to close them or blink.  She went back to bed peacefully though which was a blessing.

On another note...Ari said her first simple sentence!  At a little over 14 months she very clearly said, "bye bye Cordi" as she walked behind the crib.  She popped back out (her version of hide and seek) and then repeated, "bye bye Cordi" and went back behind the crib where you could hear her repeating herself 3-4 more times.  Armen and I just looked at eachother, and had to clarify to make sure we both were hearing the same thing.  It was quite amusing...guess it makes sense...she's perfected mommy, daddy and Ari...might as well move on to sister's name right?  The child continues to amaze me.

Cordi on the other hand cracked us up this evening...we were attempted to get her to show us where her tongue was, so...being the great examples we are, Armen and I started being goofy and squinting our eyes closed and sticking our tongues out to show her.  She watched us for a minute and then squinted her eyes closed very tight and puckered her lips out...like she was kissing something.  She opened her eyes and looked at us...her eyes told us she was SURE she had done successfully that which we had asked.  We cracked up.  And of course being the mature people we are, tried to get her to do it again...she did...and continued to be sure she was sticking her tongue out by pursing her lips.  It was hilarious...seriously wishing I had had a camera.

Those kinds of moments...the firsts...the hilraious thing they attempt in order to mimic or make us laugh...those are what make the last week manageable...the weeks that come where no one wants to nap and all we do is scream for an hour and half every day then continue on the rest of the afternoon as what I have coined as a "grump-o-potomus".  I savor these moments...as they will soon be gone and my children will be talking full sentences, and talking back I am sure.

Today, was a good day.  Hoping tomorrow will be too.
