for those who pray...

Please leift me and my family up.  My gramps has taken a turn for the worse.  He was doing well and in the last week he has had a steady decline till the last 2 days where he isn't able to get out of bed, sleeps all the time and is on morphine consistently.  We were there tonight to celebrate my mom's birthday (tomorrow)  and it pretty much turned into a goodbye party for gramps.  The hospice nurse that they had been trying to get there all day, FINALLY arrived and after caring for gramps told us she thinks he probably has 24 hours left.  His decline has been steady and fast.  They turned off his defibrillator yesterday so it won't go off if something happens.  We are all trying to perpare, but there really is no preparation for this kind of thing.  Please pray for my grandpa that the Lord would grant him peace, for my mom as this is her last living parent and she has been his caregiver for over 7 months now, for me I am not handling this well this is my last living grandparent and I am fairly attached to my gramps.  Please pray too that if the Lord wills he hold on till tomorrow, today is my mom's birthday and I really don't think she needs that to happen today.  So yeah...please pray...I am expecting a hard couple of days.
