8 years in review...

8 years ago today, I was in a little cabin in the mountains of Colorado wearing a big white gown, pledging my life, my love, my all to the man of my dreams.  8 years ago today I married my best friend, and our life together began.   The road has not been easy, and there are days (sometimes years) that seem long and so hard, but as I reflect, I would do it again in a heartbeat.  So, for kicks and giggles...I am going to stretch my brain and see if I can come up with a good list of what the last 8 years has held...
  • We got married
  • We lived in an apartment for 10 months
  • We bought our first home
  • Got a cat, named her Isabelle Cookie Badeer
  • Finished the basement in our home
  • Struggled through the sorrow of a loss of our baby
  • Struggled through 3 years of infertility
  • Sold our home and bought another
  • Underwent around a year of infertility treatments
  • Found out we were pregnant (shortly after our 6th anniversary)
  • Found out we were pregnant with twins
  • Had our two beautiful girls September of 08
  • Had our house jacked up and replaced the entire foundation
  • LOTS AND LOTS of work on the house
  • Oh and bought and sold so many cars in there I can't even begin to tell you
  • Our baby girls turned one
  • Celebrating 8 wonderful, hard, good, bad and some inbetween years of marriage

In the midst of it all, God has blessed.  I never expected that marriage could and would be so wonderful at times, hard at times and even sorrowful at times.  God has walked us through many peaks and probably even more valleys, but He is faithful.  I love Armen more than I could have ever imagined and am so thankful for God blessing us with 8 years together, I am thankful for all Armen does and means to me.  He is good husband and a loving father and  I am blessed, no matter what comes our way, I am blessed.
