Life has been busy, I can't sit and tell you why exactly, I think it's just the usual...but I suppose most of that is life with twins. They are busy growing and learning and amazing me every day. Cordi has started talking more and more and it amazes us...she prounounces things PERFECTLY when she decides to finally say something...solidifying our belief she is a sponge that is soaking in all the new words but refuses to speak until she has it perfected. Ari...well Ari is still our over achiever...we have lost track of how many words she knows...half of them we don't teach her, she just spouts out. And she has started putting more and more words together...lately it's, "hi daddy" and "hi mommy" also "nigh nigh teddy" and "I got it" or "I got teddy" Cordi too can and does say "I got it" and "I got teddy". They both have learned cookie...they knew it before, but both have perfected it enough that you have NO doubt what they are asking for. They both know pretty all the basic body parts, Ari surprised me the other day while standing next to me as I was sitting and pointed to my neck and said "neck"...that was not one we practiced. She has also started throwing balls...now...learning that balls are one of the ONLY toys we are allowed to throw...that is yet to come. It is such a blessing...I am constantly amazed by all they know and how quickly they learn. Such a fun journey I am blessed to be a part of.
A few pics...
I LOVE this face...I have a pic of her making this SAME face at about 10 months...it always makes me laugh...SUCH a goof sometimes...
This is "flirt"...any time you tell Ari to flirt she tilts her head to her shoulder and gets cheesy...again, I did NOT teach her this...I just said flirt one day and this happened...I find it quite amusing.
One of Cordi's new things...anytime someone yawns...she fake yawns...sound and all...one of us just yawned. Excuse the chunk of cookie on the cheek... :)
Same meal...she decided she did not want to take bites of her half of banana and thus shoved the whole thing in...some then kinda squished back out and she had remnants in her hands...guess they gotta learn somehow.
