We're approaching 16 months (tomorrow actually) and the girls talk more and more. Ari has her favorite words, but is not afraid to try to mimic words you ask her to. Cordi has finally started to open her mouth from time to time and use real words...we are convinced she has a HUGE vocabulary she just won't use it...mainly because in the last week she just pops her mouth open and a new word comes out perfectly.
favorite/new words...
Ari:
- she still loves baby
- cracker (everything including cookies are crackers)
- cookie
- thank you (she knows how to say please but won't but says PERFECTLY thank you when handed something)
- blankie
- juice
- shoe
- sock
- hat
Cordi:
- teddy
- eye
- belly button
- nose (only once or twice)
- ball
- pillow
- daddy
- hat
It amazes me how quickly they learn new words, they don't use them ALL the time, but they definitely learn quickly and it is SO fun to hear them try/perfect new words.
How fun! Smart girls!!! :) I am very excited for that stage, it must be so fun to watch them learn and grow so quickly! Caleb's new word is "phhhiffff" ha!
ReplyDeletetoo cute. :) LOVE all the stages, they grow and change so quickly, just trying to savor every bit. :)
